NFIS

 First Aid  The  performing of basic life support and/or first Aid procedures in Emergencies
Basic Fire Fighting Upon completing this course the learner will be capable of identifying, containing, preventing and extinguishing different types of fires by operating basic fire fighting equipment
 Safety Representative  Learners will be able to participate in the safety, health and environmental structures and measure these activities according to health, safety and environmental requirements
 Racking & Stacking  Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to determine the rack type and the correct stacking method to utilize depending on the type of goods being stacked. The learner will also be able to determine whether the Racking & Stacking systems in place are safe
 Fire Marshall  Upon completing this course the learner will be capable of identifying, containing, preventing and extinguishing different types of fires by operating basic fire fighting equipment and in the effective execution of  a Fire evacuation plan
 Ladder Supervisor  Upon completion of this course the learner  will be capable of Identifying hazardous, damaged, or incorrectly repaired ladders, As well as selecting the correct ladder type for each task and the correct setup of a ladder
 Incident Investigation  The learners will be able to complete the required reports and be able to process any physical evidence which may have been collected.
 Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

Upon successfully completing this course the learner will be able to facilitate the development of safe, healthy working environments. Competence to address workplace hazards and risks relates to both the people and the equipment found in places of work.

 

 Hazardous Materials  This course aims to enable you as the first responder in a emergency pertaining to Hazardous materials, to have an understanding of your role and how to safely deal with such incidents.
